Our History

DISCOVER HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Prodotti Ltd was founded in 1992 and is one of the oldest companies in the sector.
We began by specializing in importing dry Italian food products.

In 2016, a new team took the reins of Prodotti with a common vision to offer all New Zealanders a real taste of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
We now import the best pasta, cheese, cured meats, antipastos, condiments, wine, beer, and spirits from Spain, Greece, Belgium, Portugal and more. We also source on-demand, commercial kitchen appliances, pizza ovens and accessories.

Our valued clientele includes foodservice companies, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and independent food stores.

We have built strong relationships with our historical suppliers and regularly visit them in the Mediterranean to find new ideas and products to share with you. We are committed to selecting suppliers that hold the highest food safety standard in the world.

I’m in love with food because it brings people together and lets them connect. To me, singing is the secret to great food… because when you are in love, you sing. I sing when I ride my Ducati, I sing a serenata, and I sing when I make pizza!
